Things I like

the gospel. where would i be without it.
violins. i hate practicing them. but i love them. the sound they make. how they feel, and how you feel when you play them.
sneezing. but i HATE not being able to sneeze. thats the worst. you get that itchy feeling in your nose. haha and i love this picture.
laughing. i laugh at every thing and this made me laugh. i know what your thinking- thats not funny. don't worry people think that a lot when they're around me...
platypus...es. platypi? whatever. i like the plural of platypus. not the word. the... meaning? ok i just confused myself. and there i go. laughing again.
old people! haha. don't you love 'em!? except score for boys because old men usually age better than old women. like have you ever seen enchanted? when she sings "thats how you know" and all the old people are giving eachother flowers and what not. the old men are so cute! the old women.... not so much
nature. because how can you not?
when my mom messes up when she talks. she's japanese so sometimes she makes mistakes :] when somebody said "i love you" she used to say "me too!" instead of "i love you too"
my family. especially our dinner conversation. if anyone else was there, they wouldn't know what the heck we were talking about because we have so many random inside jokes. which brings me to another thing i like:

inside jokes. which is kinda hypocritical because i hate it when people say inside jokes that i'm not "in" on.

candy. aghhh! i love candy. i love being hyper too which happens a lot because of...... candy. (dur dur duuuuurrrrrrr)
the last words of a book. i love reading them. especially when you finished a super long book/series, like the Lord of the Rings (another thing i like :] ) it makes you feel like... you earned them. EXCEPT for the last words of Gone With the Wind. After you read those you feel like someone drove you off a cliff!

This past week...

So. This past week my cousin Elaine came to stay with us. Except we call her Elesnie but that is a very loooooooong story that I don't want to tell. She's 9... Maybe she's 10.... Actually. I'm not that sure how old she is. I think she's 10 though. Moooooving on. We went to Seven Peaks which was very fun and we also went to a Bee's game in Salt Lake and we got to sit in a box! We went with the Whites and the Holmes. My friend Abi also stayed the night on Tuesday. Sorry I am really tired right now and barely know what I'm saying let alone what I mean by it. it. it. it.

Hmmmm. I wonder what would happen if I slammed my head on the keyboard. Let's experiment- shall we? njhgsdfr gt cvbeddddddddddd ouch. That hurt. A lot. My cousin Arwen is getting married soon. To Garret York I believe. She's 19. He's.... 46. NOT he's like 20-ish.We just hosted her bridal shower- it ended like ...... 10 minutes ago so there's still a few random relatives running around.. Loveeerrrrrly. Saren is at nationals right now and apparently she's getting me orange or yellow shoes. GEEZ LU-EEZE. she must come home because I might die soon from lack of playage. I'm going to Italy in.... 1. 2. 3...... 9 days. whew! sccorre for the asian! Yes. you. squinty eyes. yellow skin. thats the oneeeeeeeeeeee. Except ya know what sucketh? I have to finish The Agony and the Ecstacy before I go to Italy and it is extreeeeeeemly boring and long. It be about Michelangelo. Its like reading the scripatures. Except without the spiritualness and goodness. Oh wwwwwwwwwwwwwwwweeeeeeeeeeellllllllllllllllllllll. Maybe I will go to Seven Peaks. Maybe I will. Ya know whats dumb? Contacts and Cavities

So yesterday I went to the Dentist and had.......... 0 CAVITIES! wahoo! I'm veeeery happy because first of all I have really soft teeth so they get cavities really easy, second- I've never had no cavities before, and third, last time I went to the dentist I had 4 cavities which my parents were not so happy about. Sooooooo they said that if I had more than 1 cavity I'd have to pay for the fillings. Which I was not so happy about. BUT I didn't have any cavities so thats good.

Today I went to the eye doctor and got contacts- not to wear all the time, just for like swimming, skiing, and what not. I tried putting them in, yeeeeeeeah... not so easy. It might take me a while to get used to them though... aand it might take me forever to be able to put them on. The eye doctor put them on for me but now I can't take them out which kinda sucks. Well I can- its not like they're stuck on my eye its just creeping me out and I'm not very good at it. I'll try again later... here's some pictures of me without my glasses. I think I look better with glasses but thats just me.

Bits and Pieces

First of all we went to Bear lake. This is just some tabernacle in like Logan that I saw on the way up. I took it while we were driving in the car, not bad eh?

This was our first view of the lake as we were driving around the corner. The water is so blue!
We rode jet skis while we were there! It was way fun! I even got to drive it a few times!

Summer so far and Memorial Day

So schools been out for about 2 weeks. The friday after school got out me and my family went to Bear Lake. It was way fun. My grandpa has a timeshare there so we were there for a week. It was kinda cold but it was windy and really fun to ride jet skis on the lake because the water was choppy so we jumped over the waves a lot. We were gonna go to this cave and go horseback riding but neither one was open. We got strawberry shakes. wait no. scratch that. Raspberryshakes. They were super good. It was so cool because the whole lake was like deserted because it was so cold so most of the time we were the only ones on the lake. That was so cool. Anyways. The week after my brother went to Camp Big Springs and he just got back yesterday. He told me about it and it sounds like he had a blast! This morning I went to Abi's birthday breakfast at Magolby's Fresh and I got a breakfast burrito. yum! After that we went to Nate's house for a while. Like 2 seconds ago I had a rehearsal with a concert pianist for my audition for Salute to Youth. I wouldn't go right to fun... more like nerve racking! Anyways. sorry but i just realized on my playlist i got love song- ya know sara berelize. or however you spell her name. anyways and i didn't bother to listen to it before i put it on and its apparently like a super fast version of it so if you start hearing this really fast wacked up music sorry. i tried deleting it but it wasn't working. sorry again. guess what? i'm going to the kelly clarkson concert at UVU tonight with saren- should be fun!

mothers day - like forever ago.

while i had lost my camera... but i found it and while i was flipping through the pictures i found some from mother's day. that morning we woke up bright and early and started looking through my mom's recipes and decided we would be adventurous and try making crepes.. well. here are the results.

the first one was good so we were all pretty proud of ourselves until...

the second one. we only cooked it for a couple seconds and it turned brown! i'm serious!

so we tried to cook it faster- and we did. but it still didn't work.

finally we remembered that you had to cool down the pan before you cooked another one...

but then we couldn't get the shape right and every time we tried to flip it it folded like an omelet or broke.

we finally got two good ones. not to shabby eh? but it took A LOT longer then we thought

and thats my mommy on sunday morning. little did she know that sacrament meeting started about 40 minutes ago...

Well there ya have it. The Last Day of School. Well, actually the second to last cuz nobody really comes on the last day. It was a blast! And i'm pretty proud of myself cuz i got a 4.0 all year! whew! have a great summer everyone!
